Winnipeg’s Community Centres come in all shapes and sizes, each run by a volunteer board who are responsible for programming and rentals. Community Centres offer a diverse range of programs for all demographics, depending on the amenities of the facility. Whereas the initial emphasis of Community Centre programming was organized sports, it has evolved to include recreation, leisure, fitness, wellness, educational, cultural and social programs.
Programs for all 63 centres are available to search. The information is updated twice per year.
There are two general registration periods per year, one in March, and one in September. Most organized sports require you to register at your Home Community Centre.
It is always advisable to contact your Community Centre directly for current program and registration information, as the various sports associations operate differently across the city. Also, for rental inquiries, please contact the Community Centre of your choice directly.
